Leicester City opt to go with a front pairing of Jamie Vardy and Islam Slimani as they welcome the visit of Southampton in the Premier League.

Leicester City have opted to go with a front pairing of Jamie Vardy and Islam Slimani as they welcome Southampton in the Premier League this afternoon.

The Foxes' attacking duo will be backed by a four-man midfield consisting of Danny Drinkwater, Mark Albrighton, Riyad Mahrez and Daniel Amartey.

The visiting Saints have decided to keep their faith in the in-form Charlie Austin up top, who is to be supported by the attacking qualities of Nathan Redmond, Dusan Tadic and Steven Davis.

The away side will look to both Oriol Romeu and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to provide some steel in the centre, as they go in search of a third straight league win.

Leicester City: Schmeichel; Simpson, Morgan, Huth, Fuchs; Mahrez, Drinkwater, Amartey, Albrighton; Slimani, Vardy
Subs: Hernandez, King, Schlupp, Okazaki, Zieler, Gray, Ulloa

Southampton: Forster; Soares, Fonte, van Dijk, Bertrand; Romeu, Hojbjerg; Davis, Tadic, Redmond; Austin
Subs: Yoshida, Clasie, Long, McCarthy, Martina, Ward-Prowse, Olomola
