Leicester City have confirmed the signing of midfielder Gokhan Inler from Napoli for an undisclosed fee, subject to clearance.
The Switzerland captain, 31, has penned a three-year contract with the Premier League club who are understood to have paid around £3m for his services.
Inler leaves Napoli following a four-year spell at the Stadio San Paolo, where he won two Coppa Italias and the Supercoppa Italiana.
"I'm very happy and proud to play here because we've been in discussions for a long time," he told Leicester's official website.
"I've spoken with the manager and I'm very happy to be here because it's a nice team. I've watched them lots of times and I like them.
"For me it was not so easy because I had many, many teams [chasing me] but in the end I decided with my heart and I came to Leicester City.
"I feel this is like a family. I saw the games and the fans are behind the team, and I like this very much. My impression is very positive. The team fight every minute and I like it because the fans want this. We must show them this every game on the pitch."
Inler has scored three goals in 83 appearances for Switzerland since 2006.
