Manchester City will be aiming to bounce back from successive defeats when they continue their Premier League title defence with a clash against Aston Villa at Villa Park on Saturday afternoon.
Pep Guardiola's side have lost eight of their last 11 matches in all competitions, and last weekend's 2-1 defeat to Manchester United in the Manchester derby left them in fifth spot in the Premier League table, nine points behind the leaders Liverpool, who have a game in hand.
Villa, meanwhile, are currently seventh in the division, three points behind fourth-placed Nottingham Forest, and Unai Emery's side have been victorious in three of their last four matches in all competitions.
That said, Villa will enter this contest off the back of a 2-1 defeat to Forest at the City Ground.
