Lille have confirmed that goalkeeper Mickael Landreau's contract with the club has been terminated by mutual consent.
Reports on Thursday suggested that the 33-year-old would be leaving the French club and Lille have now confirmed his departure.
In a statement on their official website, the club said: "LOSC and Mickael Landreau have decided by mutual consent to end their collaboration. The club and the goalkeeper have today signed an agreement to end his contract with immediate effect."
The shot-stopper reportedly requested his contract be terminated following disputes with manager Rudi Garcia and his coaching staff.
The French international joined Lille in 2009 and made over 100 appearances for the club.
