Liverpool fail to publish Jurgen Klopp and James Milner's views on the European Super League on their official website, after the pair shared their thoughts on Monday.

Liverpool decided against publishing comments on their official website which expressed the views of Jurgen Klopp and James Milner on the European Super League.

On Monday night, the Reds travelled to Elland Road where they let a 1-0 lead slip to a Diego Llorente header three minutes from time, and remained two points behind fourth-placed West Ham United.

After the game, Liverpool published Milner and Klopp's comments on their official website, but failed to highlight what the pair said about the Super League.

Both the manager and the vice-captain spoke to Sky Sports News, with Milner stating: "I can only say my own personal opinion. I don't like it and hopefully it doesn't happen. Obviously it's been difficult for us, trying to prepare for the game, but I can only imagine what's been said about it and I probably agree with most of it."

The German had his say before the game and said: "I do not think it is a great idea. I like the fact that West Ham might play in the Champions League next year. I don't want them to, to be honest, because we want to do that, but I like that they have the chance.

"One thing I can understand people think is not right is the competitiveness. I can understand the fans are angry."

Liverpool are among six English clubs, three Spanish and three Italian clubs who have agreed to the breakaway league.
