Kenny Dalglish believes that the Liverpool fans have been "taken for granted" following the FA's decision to set a 5.15pm kickoff time for the FA Cup final.

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish believes that supporters are not treated with enough care and attention when it comes to organising big events.

The Scotsman has criticised the 5.15pm kickoff time for the FA Cup final between the Reds and Chelsea on May 5, which has thrown up travel chaos on the rail services for supporters getting back from London to Merseyside.

"Sometimes that is the problem when fans are taken for granted - not just our fans but those at all football clubs," said Dalglish.

"That is the decision which has been made and it's been made outside of our control. It could have been made a bit easier for them but they are fantastic fans and they will get there."

The Premier League outfit have been offered 25,000 tickets for the highly-anticipated clash, which is 6,000 fewer than the seats allocated for the semi-final against Everton.
