Daniel Sturridge "feeling a lot better" after operation

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge reveals that he is "feeling a lot better" as he recovers from a hip operation that is expected to sideline him until September.

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has revealed that he is "feeling a lot better" as he continues his recovery from a hip operation.

The England international has suffered an injury-plagued season at Anfield, managing just seven Premier League starts throughout the entire campaign.

The latest layoff is expected to sideline him until September at the earliest, but Sturridge has hinted that all is going well in the aftermath of his surgery.

Sturridge will once again be forced to watch on from the stands when Liverpool travel to Stoke City on the final day of the Premier League season this weekend.ID:223822: cacheID:223822:1false2false3false:QQ:: from db desktop :LenBod:restore:1435:
