West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce: 'We must control Liverpool's Luis Suarez'

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce insists that his side need to "control" Luis Suarez when they take on Liverpool this weekend.

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce believes that the key to beating Liverpool this weekend is to stop striker Luis Suarez.

The Uruguayan international is in scintillating form for the Reds having netted four in Liverpool's 5-1 win over Norwich City on Wednesday.

"Luis Suarez is the man and if we control him like Hull showed then you have a 50% better chance of getting a result," Allardyce said in a press conference.

"A good team as Liverpool are he is still proving to be the man to turn draws into wins for them. He thrives on the service he gets to him so it's about the players in front of our back four stopping the supply to him."

The Hammers currently sit three points above the relegation zone in the Premier League table.
