Kenny Dalglish is expected to name an unchanged side to face Manchester City on Sunday.

Liverpool vice-captain Jamie Carragher is expected to miss out on a spot in the Reds' starting lineup when they take on Manchester City on Sunday.

The Merseyside club are likely to keep the same team that defeated Chelsea 2-1 at Stamford Bridge last weekend, according to The Mirror.

It is believed that winger Stewart Downing and Andy Carroll will remain on the bench for the Premier League leaders' visit.

Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard has been ruled out for the clash while recovering from an ankle infection, and boss Kenny Dalglish has refused to set a return date for the midfielder.
