Neil Redfearn has resigned as manager of the Liverpool Women side after just one league game in charge.
The former Leeds United and Rotherham United boss took over at the side in July after spending last term with the Doncaster Belles and was in the dugout as the new WSL season began last Saturday.
That game - an away trip to Arsenal Women - ended in a crushing 5-0 defeat and just six days later, the Reds have confirmed his exit from the club.
A statement on the Liverpool website read: "The club would like to thank Neil for his work in rebuilding the squad ahead of the 2018-19 season and wish him the best of luck for the future."
Ex-Liverpool keeper Chris Kirkland, currently part of the backroom team, will step up as interim manager, starting with a cup game at Durham Women this weekend.
