Roberto Martinez: 'Luis Suarez not only threat for Liverpool

Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez says that his side will not make the mistake of focusing purely on the threat of striker Luis Suarez when they play Liverpool tomorrow.

Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez has insisted that his team will not simply focus on Luis Suarez when they take on Liverpool tomorrow.

The Uruguayan international has been in form for the Reds in recent weeks and has netted eight of the Merseyside club's 14 goals in the Premier League this season.

"Luis Suarez is vital at the moment but I think it would be wrong to give him special treatment because then there are other players around him who can really take advantage of it," said Martinez.

Liverpool currently sit one point above Wigan in the league table in 13th place.
