Liverpool are reportedly lining up a move for Bayern Munich star Mario Gotze.
The Anfield coffers have been boosted by Raheem Sterling's £49m switch to Manchester City earlier this week, although £32m has already been earmarked for Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke.
However, The Telegraph have claimed that the Reds are still planning a big-money pursuit of World Cup winner Gotze, and they are ready to battle it out with Juventus for the German playmaker.
Gotze is said to be unsettled at the Allianz Arena, although coach Pep Guardiola recently dismissed the prospect of selling the attacking midfielder this summer.
