Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah pays tribute to his teammates following his four-goal haul in the 5-0 victory over Watford at Anfield.

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has insisted that picking up three points is the most important thing for him following his four-goal haul against Watford at Anfield.

Salah ran riot against the Hornets as Liverpool bounced back from last weekend's defeat at Manchester United with a 5-0 triumph over Javi Gracia's side, scoring four times and creating the other goal for Roberto Firmino too.

The Egyptian winger has now scored 36 goals during his debut season on Merseyside, but he was quick to credit his teammates for helping him to reach such an impressive tally.

"I have to thank everyone but mainly my teammates, without them I couldn't reach this number," he told BT Sport.

"Each game we try to win the three points, but every game I want to score and help the team. But today the most important thing is three points.

"We showed a good reaction after the last game. We had a good result and clean sheet - that's most important."

Salah is now leading the race for the Golden Boot, sitting four goals better off than the injured Harry Kane.
