Footballers react to Jamie Carragher retirement on Twitter

Footballers and former professionals within the game react to the news that Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher is to retire at the end of the season.

Current and former professional footballers have paid tribute to the career of Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher following the centre-back's decision to retire.

The 35-year-old has confirmed that he will hang up his boots at the end of the season after 26 years with the Merseyside club.
