Brendan Rodgers has named the same squad that beat Cardiff City at the weekend for Liverpool's Premier League match against Sunderland this evening.

Luis Suarez, who scored a hat-trick on Saturday, continues up front alongside Daniel Sturridge, while Raheem Sterling starts on the bench.

Meanwhile, there are five changes for the visitors following their defeat to Norwich City.

Among the changes, Fabio Borini is ineligible to play against his parent club, while Marcos Alonso misses out through suspension.

Andrea Dossena, Santiago Vergini, Lee Cattermole, Emanuele Giaccherini and Connor Wickham all come into the starting XI.
