Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp confirms that he is working with a fully-fit squad for Sunday's top-of-the-table Premier League clash with Manchester City.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that the Reds have a fully-fit squad for Sunday's top-of-the-table Premier League showdown with Manchester City.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Naby Keita have both overcome hamstring and knee issues in recent weeks, but the Reds were handed a slight concern when Fabinho sustained a cut on the back of his head against Benfica in the Champions League.

However, the Brazilian midfielder did not sustain a concussion in the incident, and Klopp expects to have all of his troops available for the trip to the Etihad Stadium.

Offering a team news update to reporters at his pre-match press conference, Klopp said: "The last time I looked on my smart phone, everyone was fine."

City and Liverpool have both played 30 games in the 2021-22 Premier League season, and the Reds would go two points clear of the champions at the top of the table with victory on Sunday.

Klopp also described his counterpart Pep Guardiola as "the best coach in the world" ahead of the heavyweight showdown.
