Bologna vice-president Maurizio Setti insists that the club will not sell Liverpool target Gaston Ramirez for less than £16m.

Bologna vice-president Maurizio Setti has claimed that Liverpool target Gaston Ramirez will not leave the club for less than £16m.

The Uruguay winger has been in fine form for Stefano Pioli's side this season, scoring eight goals in 32 Serie A appearances.

Liverpool have been continually linked with a move for the 21-year-old, who has also reportedly attracted the attention of Inter Milan and Juventus.

Despite the interest from the Serie A duo, Setti believes that Ramirez will most likely go to England or Germany when he departs Renato Dall'Ara.

"We know full well that it is difficult for certain figures to be bandied around in Serie A, but for Ramirez the negotiations start with at least €20m," Setti told Sky Sport Italia.

"In Italy I'd certainly see him doing well at Antonio Conte's Juventus, but as I said, I doubt any Italian clubs will come in with that fee.

"At the moment the biggest interest has come from the Premier League and the Bundesliga."

With one match remaining, Bologna are guaranteed to finish in Serie A's top 10 for the first time since 2002.
