Bologna to allow Gaston Ramirez departure

Bologna president Albano Guaraldi admits that Gaston Ramirez could leave the club following reported interest from Liverpool.

Liverpool have been alerted to the availability of Uruguayan Gaston Ramirez following comments made by the Bologna president.

The 21-year-old has impressed for Bologna this campaign but Albano Guaraldi admitted that the club would not stand in the way of Ramirez should a big club come in for him.

"We understand his desires and expectations and even if things are as they are at the moment it's impossible to say no to big clubs that are the dream of all players," InsideFutbol quotes Guaraldi as saying.

"If he receives an offer at the end of the championship, then we'll let him go."

As well as Liverpool, Juventus are also believed to be interested in signing Ramirez in the summer.
