Fabio Borini completes Liverpool move

Fabio Borini officially completes his move to Liverpool from Roma for around £11m after passing a medical.

Fabio Borini has officially completed his move to Liverpool from Roma after passing a medical.

The 21-year-old, who has signed a long-term deal for around £11m, becomes manager Brendan Rodgers's first signing since he took charge at Anfield last month.

The pair previously worked together when Rodgers was the coach of Chelsea's youth team five years ago.

Borini played for the Northern Irishman for a second time during a brief loan spell at Swansea City last year.

The Italian international scored nine goals in 24 appearances for Roma last season.
