Alexander Doni has refused to commit his future to Liverpool beyond the end of the current season.
The Brazilian only arrived at Anfield on a free transfer from AS Roma last summer.
However, Doni is yet to feature in the Premier League this season as he has been forced to settle for a place behind Pepe Reina in the pecking order.
As a result, the 32-year-old has conceded that he may be forced to move on in search of regular starting action.
"Next year, I do not know where I will play," Doni told Radio Sport Mana Mana. "Being on the bench is not great.
"Liverpool have changed so much. There have been lots of ups and downs, but I'm learning the language and the experience is beautiful.
"I miss Roma a lot because it always rains here in Liverpool."
Doni is expected to feature in Liverpool's next three matches as Reina is suspended.
