Diego Forlan doubts Luis Suarez will leave Liverpool

Diego Forlan claims that Uruguay teammate Luis Suarez is "very happy" at Liverpool amid reports of a move to Real Madrid.

Diego Forlan has claimed that Uruguay teammate Luis Suarez is "very happy" at Liverpool amid reports of a move to Real Madrid.

Suarez's form last season, which saw him top the scoring charts in the Premier League, has aided talk of a move to the Bernabeu this summer.

However, Forlan has played down such suggestions ahead of Uruguay's World Cup opener against Costa Rica later this afternoon.

"Suarez is very happy at Liverpool. All you hear are rumours for now. If at any time he signs for Real Madrid, I will talk about it then," he told Goal.com.

Suarez will miss the Costa Rica match with a knee injury.
