Juventus are reportedly ahead of Liverpool in the race to sign Bayern Munich defender David Alaba.
The 28-year-old remains a key figure for Bayern but his existing deal at the Allianz Arena is due to expire next June, and there are currently no signs that he will pen a fresh contract.
A number of clubs have been credited with an interest in the Austria international, who has scored once and provided one assist in 10 appearances at club level this term.
Liverpool are allegedly keen to bring him to the Premier League next summer, but according to Tuttosport, Juve are in pole position for Alaba as they look to sign a replacement for Giorgio Chiellini.
Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City have also been linked with the Austrian, who has developed into a central defender in recent seasons after making his name as a left-back.
Bayern are allegedly not prepared to sell Alaba in January as they would rather lose him on a free transfer than sanction a mid-season departure.
