Karim Adeyemi says that he will remain focused on life with Red Bull Salzburg despite recent speculation linking him with a switch to Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp is expected to be in the market for a new attacker during 2022 with the futures of several key players up in the air.
The Liverpool boss is said to have been left impressed by the progression of Adeyemi, the 19-year-old having already earned international recognition with Germany.
While the prospect has acknowledged that he feels "honoured" to be linked with a switch to the Premier League giants, he says that his priority is life at his current club.
Speaking to Sky Austria, Adeyemi said: "I take it easy. I feel honoured, but nothing more.
"I have my focus here at Salzburg. We play well together. It works perfectly. First of all, I want to progress with Salzburg. Then we'll look further."
Adeyemi, who has a contract at Salzburg until 2024, has already scored 12 goals in all competitions this season, including three in the Champions League group stages.
