Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has reportedly decided to secure a reunion with Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jakub Blaszczykowski.
Blaszczykowski was part of the Dortmund side that excelled under Klopp before his departure in 2015, but he spent last season on loan at Fiorentina after struggling to regain his place in the side after a serious knee injury.
According to Bild, Klopp is looking to capitalise on the uncertainty surrounding the 30-year-old's future by making an approach for a player who played a leading role in helping Poland reach the Euro 2016 quarter-finals.
Blaszczykowski made just 18 appearances for Fiorentina last season but his performances for his country have suggested that he is close to returning to the kind of form which saw him score 21 times for Dortmund between 2011 and 2013.
