As many as 11 pieces of silverware were lifted during his time at the club, including two La Liga titles and four Copa del Reys. Furthermore, Migueli was twice part of sides that won the Cup Winners Cup.
Incredibly, he was named in the La Liga Team of the Year on six occasions between 1977 and 1987, solidifying his status as a Barcelona great.
Miguel, who was a 32-cap Spain international, would spend time on the coaching staff and as sporting advisor in the years after his retirement.
