The list of Barcelona's all-time top 10 appearance makers is stacked with players who starred at some point during the Pep Guardiola era.
There is no prospect of that list changing anytime soon with Gerard Pique in line to remain in the top five for many years to come.
Although Pique turned down the chance to sign a professional contract with Barcelona in 2004 to join Manchester United, he returned four years to embark on a legendary stint with the Catalan giants.
Across a 14-year-stint, Pique would accumulate 616 appearances and win an incredible nine La Liga titles among his vast array of silverware.
Three Champions League trophies were added to the trophy cabinet between 2009 and 2015, the centre-back ultimately helping Barcelona to 30 trophies during a legacy-cementing period at the club.
Pique also earned 102 caps for Spain, playing his part in their World Cup and European Championship triumphs in 2010 and 2012 respectively.
Despite having a contract until 2024, Pique made the decision to retire from professional football in November 2022, just two months shy of his 36th birthday.
To celebrate Pique's 38th birthday, Sports Mole is challenging you to name the club's top 10 appearance-makers of all time.
