Jurgen Klopp to replace Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool?

A report claims that Brendan Rodgers could be replaced by Jurgen Klopp at Anfield, should the Liverpool boss fail to turn around his side's faltering season.

Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp has reportedly been lined up by Liverpool's hierarchy to replace under-fire boss Brendan Rodgers.

The Reds slipped to a 3-1 defeat against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park this afternoon to see their poor start to the season continue.

Having lost three games on the bounce and won just two of their last nine in all competitions, Rodgers has come under increasing pressure due to his perceived lack of ability to turn around his side's faltering fortunes.

A report published in the Daily Express claims that Klopp, who is also seen as a potential successor to Arsene Wenger at Arsenal, could take the reigns should Liverpool part company with Rodgers in the coming weeks.

Klopp's Dortmund side are currently in the Bundesliga relegation zone, and the 47-year-old admitted earlier this week that he would like to one day manage in the Premier League should the opportunity arise.
