Southampton striker Rickie Lambert will reportedly complete a move to his boyhood club Liverpool over the weekend.
Widespread reports have claimed that the 32-year-old will undergo a medical with the Merseyside outfit on Saturday.
It is believed that the Reds have agreed a £4m fee with the Saints for the forward's services, plus add-ons.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Lambert, who will travel to Brazil with England's World Cup squad next month, will complete the transfer over the weekend by signing a two-year deal.
Liverpool, who missed out on winning the Premier League title by two points last season, have also been linked with Lambert's Southampton teammate Adam Lallana.
