Lazio are reportedly close to finalising a deal for Alberto Moreno, who will leave Liverpool on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno has reportedly moved to the brink of signing a deal with Lazio.

Moreno is approaching the end of his fifth campaign at Anfield, but the Spaniard will leave the Merseyside giants on a free transfer at the end of the season.

The 26-year-old has made just four appearances during the current campaign, but according to The Independent, Lazio are ready to complete the signing of the left-back.

Moreno is able to pen a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club, and it appears that a decision has been made to take on a new challenge in Serie A.

The report adds that Real Betis may be ready to make a late move for the former Sevilla man.
