Liverpool have reportedly identified Sparta Prague youngster Adam Hlozek as an ideal signing ahead of the 2021-22 season.
The 18-year-old has missed a large chunk of the current season through a broken foot, but he nevertheless boasts five goals and seven assists from 13 matches in the Czech top flight.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is thought to be in the market for a new striker this summer, and the Merseyside giants have been linked with a move for Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins.
Now, Football Insider claims that the club are keeping a close eye on teenage starlet Hlozek, who has already made two appearances for the Czech Republic national team.
The report adds that Hlozek fits the bill in terms of what Klopp is looking for from a centre-forward, with Liverpool scouts impressed by the teenager's speed and strength as well as his goal contributions.
Hlozek's current deal with Sparta is due to expire in the summer of 2022, and he is also thought to be on West Ham United's radar.
