Claudio Marchisio 'not interested' in Liverpool move

Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio pours cold water on suggestions that he could be on his way to Liverpool to work under Jurgen Klopp.

Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio has said that he is 'not interested' in talking to Liverpool over a move to Anfield.

It is understood that new Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has made the Italian international one of his main transfer targets, with the German due to press ahead with a move in the January window.

Marchisio, however, has revealed that he is not prepared to leave Juventus having only recently signed a new long-term deal in Turin.

"It doesn't interest me. I've just signed a new contract with Juve," Marchisio told Mediaset.

The 29-year-old, who has played for Italy on more than 50 occasions, has been with Juventus since 2006 and collected four Serie A titles with the Old Lady.
