Alberto Moreno 'agrees five-year Liverpool deal'

Alberto Moreno will join Liverpool after agreeing a five-year deal, according to reports.

Liverpool have reportedly completed their capture of Sevilla left-back Alberto Moreno, with the young Spaniard agreeing personal terms on a five-year contract.

The Reds had offered midfielder Suso as a makeweight in the deal, but The Mirror claims that the Europa League winners wanted a straight cash offer.

Now it appears that Sevilla may have got their wish, with numerous sources in Spain suggesting that a transfer has been agreed between the parties and the 21-year-old is scheduled for a medical on Merseyside next week.

While a fee is yet to be confirmed, it is thought that the Andalusian club were looking to hold out for £17.9m for the defender.

Moreno has made 45 appearances for Sevilla, scoring three times.
