Liverpool make cash-plus-player offer for Alberto Moreno?

Liverpool offer Sevilla £16.2m plus Suso in exchange for left-back Alberto Moreno, a report suggests.

Liverpool have reportedly made a cash-plus-player offer to Sevilla in exchange for left-back Alberto Moreno.

Spanish newspaper Marca claims that the Reds have offered the Europa League winners attacking midfielder Suso plus a sum of £16.2m for the 21-year-old.

Moreno was named as part of Spain's 30-man provisional World Cup squad, meaning that Sevilla are keen to hold off accepting any offers in the hope that his valuation may increase should he impress in Brazil, according to the same report.

The defender is said to have a £24.4m release clause in his current contract, however, making it unlikely that any offer will exceed what the Reds are offering.

Moreno made 40 appearances for Sevilla last season in all competitions.
