Alberto Moreno set for Liverpool move?

Liverpool are expected to complete the signing of Sevilla defender Alberto Moreno, according to a report.

Liverpool are reportedly set to complete the signing of Sevilla defender Alberto Moreno, after being given permission by his club to hold talks with him.

The 21-year-old has been named in Spain's 30-man provisional squad squad for this summer's World Cup and started as his country claimed a 2-0 win over Bolivia earlier this evening.

According to The Mirror, Liverpool have offered £15m plus Suso to land the full-back and they hope to complete a deal before he travels with Spain to America next week.

Moreno came through the youth ranks at Sevilla before making his first-team debut in 2012.

He has previously won three caps for the Spain national side and helped his club to win the Europa League last season.

The Reds are also close to signing Southampton striker Rickie Lambert, who is expected to undergo a medical on Saturday ahead of a £4m move.
