Liverpool are considering a summer move for Udinese forward Luis Muriel, according to reports.
The 22-year-old, who joined Udinese in 2010, is being lined up by Brendan Rodgers for a summer move to Anfield.
The Metro reports that Liverpool will test the Italian club's resolve with a £17m bid in the summer.
Liverpool failed with a bid for Yehven Konoplyanka in January, but with Champions League football now a likely scenario for the Merseyside club next season, FSG are reportedly willing to back Rodgers with funds.
Muriel will be part of the Colombia squad to take on Greece, Ivory Coast and Japan in Group C at this summer's World Cup.
