Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perin is reportedly a transfer target for Liverpool as the Reds have second thoughts about Simon Mignolet as their first-choice stopper.

Liverpool have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perin.

The 21-year-old has produced a string of impressive displays for his club and was named in Italy's World Cup squad this summer.

According to Il Secolo XIX, Perin is being tracked by the Reds, who are thought to be unconvinced by the performances of Simon Mignolet.

Perin has kept three clean sheets for Genoa in Serie A this season.
