Report: AC Milan want Fabio Borini

A report claims that AC Milan want to sign Liverpool forward Fabio Borini.

Liverpool forward Fabio Borini has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for AC Milan.

The former Italian champions are currently in the market for a new striker after losing Mario Balotelli to Liverpool and have been linked with a move for Chelsea's Fernando Torres.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Borini is also a strong target for the Serie A side.

The 23-year-old joined Liverpool in 2012, but has largely struggled to hold down a first-team role at Anfield and spent last season on loan at Sunderland.

Borini has also previously played in Italy, scoring 10 times in 26 games during a loan spell at Roma during the 2011-12 season.
