Report: Watford keen on Liverpool's Joe Allen, Jordon Ibe

Watford are reportedly exploring the possibility of signing Joe Allen and Jordon Ibe from Liverpool during the summer.

Liverpool duo Joe Allen and Jordon Ibe have both reportedly been added to Watford's shortlist of summer transfer targets.

It is believed that the two players have grown frustrated with life at Anfield, having been reduced to bit-part roles since Jurgen Klopp took charge in October.

Allen's situation is particularly uncertain due to the fact that he will enter the final 12 months of his contract at the end of the season.

According to The Guardian, Watford are prepared to test the midfielder's resolve to remain on Merseyside with the offer of regular match action.

The report adds that the Hornets also have a strong interest in 20-year-old winger Ibe, who was recently red-carded while on international duty with England's Under-21s.
