A report claims that Wolverhampton Wanderers could splash out £20m to sign Divock Origi from Liverpool in the New Year.

Liverpool striker Divock Origi is a £20m January transfer target for Wolverhampton Wanderers, according to a report.

The Molineux outfit are said to have enquired about the Belgian's availability in the summer and are now ready to reignite their interest.

Origi has scored 21 goals in 78 appearances for the Reds and is currently well down the pecking order for a starting spot.

According to The Mirror, the 23-year-old could now be on his way out of Anfield on a permanent basis as Wolves are ready to table a concrete offer.

Used just once in all competitions this season, Origi has struggled to break into Liverpool's first team since returning from a loan spell with Wolfsburg.
