Sadio Mane has allegedly not informed Liverpool that he wants to leave this summer, despite speculation linking him with Bayern Munich.

Sadio Mane is reportedly yet to tell Liverpool that he is open to leaving the club during the summer transfer window.

After six years at Anfield and just 12 months remaining on his contract, the 30-year-old is said to be keen to take on a new challenge rather than penning fresh terms at the Champions League runners-up.

Either side of the defeat to Real Madrid on Saturday, speculation has persisted that the Senegal international could join Bayern Munich, the player already said to have told people at Liverpool than he is planning a departure.

However, according to Sky Sports News, the winger has held no such conversations with Jurgen Klopp, his teammates or the powers-that-be at the Merseyside giants.

While Mane may still be intending on holding talks of that magnitude, Liverpool are unlikely to accept any bid in the region of £25m, despite the risk of losing the player on a free transfer next summer.

Mane contributed 21 goals in the Premier League and Champions League this season.
