John Still: 'Paul Benson could return in six weeks'

Luton Town manager John Still insists that striker Paul Benson could return to action in six weeks despite suffering a broken leg last weekend.

Luton Town manager John Still is hopeful that striker Paul Benson could return to action before the end of January.

Benson broke his leg during Luton's 3-0 victory over Mansfield Town last weekend, but after describing the fracture as "being in the right place", Still is confident that the forward won't spend a prolonged period on the sidelines.

Still told BBC Counties Radio: "Any fracture or break is disappointing. But if he had to have a fracture, it's in the right place.

"If all went well with him, I think we're looking at six weeks."

The 35-year-old has netted twice in 16 appearances for the Hatters this season.
