Jurgen Klopp insists that his Borussia Dortmund side will be targeting a win against Manchester City tomorrow.

Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp has said that his side will be looking to win when they travel to Manchester City tomorrow.

Dortmund beat Ajax 1-0 in their opening game of the campaign while City lost 3-2 away at Real Madrid.

Klopp suggests that defeats in last season's competition have given his side valuable experience.

"We have taken a step forward and learnt from defeat in previous campaigns," Klopp said. "Tomorrow will be a different question. But at the end of the day we have come here to get something out of the game.

"We are fully focused. We want to get a result tomorrow night and that is what we will be playing for."

Klopp went on to say that he watched City's 1-1 draw with Arsenal nine days ago in preparation for the game.

He continued: "The way Arsenal play is not dissimilar to us. City have quality players but they have to adapt to that style.

"Also, if you look at Bayern Munich, City lost there and we won. We will see what happens tomorrow though."

Dortmund play City tomorrow at 7.45pm.
