Denis Suarez: 'Barcelona favourites against Manchester City'

Denis Suarez says that his current side Barcelona are the favourites to progress from their Champions League last-16 clash with his former team Manchester City.

Barcelona attacker Denis Suarez believes that the Spanish outfit are the favourites to progress from their Champions League last-16 clash with Manchester City.

The two sides meet at the Etihad Stadium this evening in the first leg, with Suarez claiming that Barca's experience will hand them an advantage.

"It's an open tie, but I see Barcelona as slight favourites," he told Goal.com.

"Historically, they have more experience in these important matches and should know how to assert themselves against Manchester City."

Suarez, 20, spent two years at City before moving to the Camp Nou in the summer.
