Report: David Silva out for three weeks with Alvaro Morata set to miss one month

Reports claim that Manchester City midfielder David Silva will be out of action for up to three weeks, while Juventus forward Alvaro Morata could miss over one month.

David Silva will be out of action for up to three weeks with an ankle injury after being forced to leave the field while on international duty for Spain against Luxembourg, according to reports.

Manager Vicente del Bosque has said he is unsure of the severity of the injury, but Spanish outlet AS claim that the Manchester City playmaker is now expected to miss the rest of October.

Meanwhile, Juventus forward Alvaro Morata is said to be out for at least one month after being stretchered off in the same game.

X-rays on the 22-year-old's leg have apparently ruled out a total break in the fibula, but team doctors were unable to rule out a crack in the bone ahead of further tests.
