Manchester City without Yaya Toure for Bournemouth trip

Manuel Pellegrini reveals that a heel injury will keep Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure out of Saturday's Premier League match at Bournemouth.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that Yaya Toure will miss this weekend's Premier League trip to Bournemouth.

Toure is struggling with a heel problem and Pellegrini said at his pre-match conference today that he would not be risked and might even miss Wednesday's Champions League quarter-final first leg against Paris Saint-Germain.

"Raheem Sterling has a muscle injury and is out for four or five weeks," Pellegrini told reporters.

"Toure has a problem with his heel. I'm not 100% sure but I think it will be difficult for Joe [Hart] or Yaya to play against PSG."

Vincent Kompany and Fabian Delph will also miss the trip to the Vitality Stadium, but midfield duo Kevin De Bruyne and Samir Nasri are closing in on returns.
