Manchester City's victorious captain Vincent Kompany has said that this afternoon's last-gasp win over Queens Park Rangers and subsequent Premier League title victory is the best moment of his life.
Roberto Mancini's men looked set to gift local rivals Manchester United the title as they were 2-1 down at the 90-minute mark.
However, forward duo Edin Dzeko and Sergio Aguero found the net in added time to seal a first top-division crown in 44 years for the Citizens.
Speaking afterwards, Kompany told Sky Sports News: "I want to say it is the best moment of my life but if I'm honest then I would say please never again this way.
"We have been so good at home all season but in the second half we just couldn't get through the QPR defence. Did I give up? No, I never stopped believing. When Edin Dzeko scored to make it 2-2, it reminded me of our late goals against Tottenham and Sunderland.
"We had done it before this season so I had no reason not to believe."
City and United both finished the season on 89 points, with the former taking the title because of their superior goal difference.
