Roberto Mancini "confident" of victory

Roberto Mancini reveals that he is "confident" his Manchester City side will take maximum points against Manchester United tonight.

Roberto Mancini has admitted that he is "confident" his Manchester City side will claim a positive result against rivals Manchester United this evening.

A victory for City will see them leapfrog the Red Devils and claim top spot in the Premier League table.

Despite the importance of the fixture, Mancini has encouraged his team to play their usual game.

"I hope that we can play better than last week against Wolves," he told Sky Sports News. "I hope that we can play like we have in the last four games apart from Wolves.

"We need to win and I am confident.

"For United a draw is enough but I think there mentality is always good."
