Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has denied claims made by Samir Nasri that his players are banned from having sex after midnight.
The French midfielder, currently on loan at Sevilla for the season, suggested in an interview with L'Equipe du Soir earlier this week that each member of the squad had been told to get a full night's rest ahead of games.
Guardiola says that he has the opposite view on the matter, however, and would actively encourage his players to have more sex with their loved ones to enhance their performance levels on the field.
"It's impossible to play good football if you don't make sex with your partner!" he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "I never [banned that] and I would never ban that. If you are doing it... better players!"
Guardiola is also rumoured to have banned Wi-Fi at the Citizens' training complex, as well as prohibiting certain food and drink such as pizza and fruit juice.
