Manchester City defender Kolo Toure has expressed his delight with his side's win over Aston Villa on Monday.
The Ivory Coast international picked up the Man of the Match award, as City registered a 1-0 victory at Villa Park thanks to a goal on the stroke of half time from Carlos Tevez.
While the victory keeps City's slim hopes of retaining their Premier League title alive, Toure admits that keeping ahead of the chasing pack is also vital.
"It was really important for us to win this game because there are teams coming behind us and we need to be able to deal with that," Toure told Sky Sports News.
"I'm doing my best for me, I love football and every time I have the chance I will give 100%."
