Vladimir Weiss says that he will return to Manchester City now that his loan spell at Espanyol is over, but reveals that he is unsure of his future at the Etihad Stadium.

Manchester City midfielder Vladimir Weiss has revealed that he is unsure about his future at the club.

The Slovakian international has just completed a season-long loan at Espanyol and said that he will now return to England.

However, the 22-year-old, who has also enjoyed spells at Rangers and Bolton Wanderers in recent seasons, said that he does not know where his future lies.

"I do not know what will happen as it does not depend on me," said Weiss. "I have one year left on my contract with Manchester City and, in principle I have to go back there."

Weiss has only made five appearances for the Citizens since his arrival in 2009.
