Manchester City have moved closer to winning the race to sign Bursaspor striker Enes Unal.
The 18-year-old is believed to have attracted interest from a number of Europe's top clubs in recent months, and Chelsea have previously been linked with a move for the forward.
However, the Turkish club confirmed on Thursday that Unal will hold talks with City with a view to completing a deal within the next week.
Batur Altiparmak, Unal's agent, is quoted as saying by The Guardian: "An agreement in principle has been reached. Bursaspor have given Unal permission to have a medical at Manchester City."
Unal won his first senior cap for Turkey in March's win over Luxembourg.
